Start your tour of Paris at Place Vendôme and Rue Saint-Honoré, the seats of fashion and luxury. Cross Place de la Concorde and continue along the Champs-Elysées towards the recently renovated Grand Palais. You are not very far from the Eiffel Tower, with its superb views. To the north of Paris, do not forget the famous Butte Montmartre, much loved by the painters of yesterday and today. Montmartre is the oldest 19th century village to have been integrated into Paris. Further south, there is the Louvre, the quaysides of the Seine and its booksellers. On Ile Saint-Louis, you can visit Notre-Dame Cathedral, the ancient Sainte-Chapelle with its magnificent stained glass windows. Further east, continue towards the district of the Marais with its unusual architecture and do not forget to make a detour via Place des Vosges.

Remember to pack a warm jacket for the evening and a raincoat or a small umbrella, just in case…

Do not forget to bring a pair of comfortable walking shoes! Paris is a town to be discovered on foot. Use the Metro to travel around the city. The Parisian metro is clean, practical and it is easy to find one’s way around.
